Desafio Internacional das Estrelas 2008

Tonio had a good start at the Desafio Internacional das Estrelas (International Challenge of the Stars) in Florianópolis, when he was third in the practice on Saturday. It went even better in qualifying when he managed to secure the second spot on the starting grid. Unfortunately, Tonio had to retire during the first race after 24 laps, when Rubens Barrichello collided with him.

Things got worse for Tonio when he wasn’t able to enter the second race because of a rib injury, which was the result of the collision in the first race. Please check our gallery to see some pictures from Tonio in Brazil.
