Heavy rain delayed the start of this morning’s free practice ahead of qualifying until 11:42 local time. Final classification became largely irrelevant as drivers drove cautious exploratory laps, with Tonio making just one run on the extreme wet tyres before the session was ultimately red flagged when Romain Grosjean spun off the wet track and into the barriers.
