Tonio to compete in American kart race

Next week, on 10 December, Tonio will take part in the PRI/CKI Karting All-Star Classic. The 2009 edition of this kart race will take place at the annual Performance Racing Industry (PRI) trade show in Orlando, Florida. With support from William Rast Racing, the racing and sport lifestyle division of the denim brand William Rast, Tonio will travel to the United States to compete. With his CRG powered team SSC East, he will have a strong chance at being the first Formula One driver to claim the PRI title.

William Rast CEO Coin Dyne says: “We are excited that Tonio will participate in the race. As one of the great karting champions of all time, his contribution to the sport has been immeasurable. The PRI/CKI Karting All-Star Classic will be televised nationally on 10 December on Fox Sports Net affiliation of cable networks. Admission to the live event in Orlando is free for PRI attendees and exhibitors.
