Tonio will pay respect to the victims of the earthquake that struck Japan’s northwest coast in March this year by wearing a special edition helmet in their honour at this year’s Japanese GP. This will be Tonio’s sixth special edition helmet provided by Kaos Design this year and is named “Embracing Japan”.

Tonio will be racing with a limited edition helmet design at the Japanese Grand Prix, with it serving as a dedication to the thousands who were affected by the country’s earthquake, tsunami and subsequent nuclear disaster in March. After the Grand Prix, the helmet will be auctioned with the benefits going towards charity.

It’s been a busy week for Tonio who, after the Grand Prix of Europe, has stopped over in Madrid to compete in the Campofrío Stadium Race and represent the Hispania Racing Team in different activities, such as the trip this morning to the Parque Warner alongside a group of twelve foster children from the Community [...]
